When I got my first snowboard, I went to a huge sporting goods sales and purchased a “lightly” used board for $299. Of course, then I hade to go find boots and bindings to go with it.
I wish I had known about brand new snowboard packages like this one because the entire set costs less than the second-hand board I bought. I could have saved a bunch of money.
This is the System 2017 Flite Complete Snowboard Package, and it has been marked down to $289.95. Talk about getting women’s snowboard gear for cheap. I don’t think you can get any cheaper than this for brand new equipment.
What I really like about it is that it’s not your typical pink or purple chick gear. Sure, pink and purple are nice colors, but I don’t want all of my sports gear in them.
The blue, black and white coloring of this set is awesome, and for that alone I want to give this women’s snowboard package 5 stars.
This Cheap Women’s Snowboard Package Includes:
1. System Flite Snowboard:
This snowboard has a certain flex and light weight core that has been designed specifically for women. These features are great for helping you improve your riding faster and feel more confident on the slopes.
Another cool things about this snowboard is that the designers incorporated the “Flatrock” design. This essentially means that the snowboard has a flat base combined with rocker at either end of the board. The flat base creates a very stable-feeling ride, while the rocker helps prevent edge-catching (falls). Perfect for beginners! (or those who just want to feel more in control as they ski down the hill).
2. Siren Lux Women’s Snowboard Boots:
This super comfortable boot helps prevent your feet from getting sore after a long day of riding. The last thing you need when you’re trying to learn how to snowboard is to have feet that are cold and cramped. If you have snowboard boots that feel like soft, cushy slippers, you are one happy camper.
3. Siren Mystic 2017 Snowboard Bindings:
These bindings are very easy to clip in and out of. When I first started snowboarding, I think this is what may have annoyed me the most: having difficult and cumbersome snowboard bindings.
They were a pain in the butt, and I was constantly reminded of them whenever I put them on or took them off. These are much better.
Women’s Snowboard Gear Sizing Options:
- Board Sizes: 144 cm, 147 cm
- Boot Sizes: 7, 8, 9, 10
Yes, there’s not a lot of selection right now. If they have your size, consider yourself lucky. I don’t know if they are restocking any time soon. Just saying.
Overall, I think the price of this package and design of the board and bindings make this a perfect package for beginners or people who are on a budget. If you’re familiar with any of my other reviews, you already know that I prefer the BOA lacing style on boots but hey, you can’t have everything if you want a super low price.
